Big Manistee River Trips

Manistee Adventures offers family-oriented canoe, kayak, SUP and tube trips on the lower section of the Big Manistee River. The Big Manistee River is designated a Wild and Scenic River. It is an excellent river for beginner and intermediate paddlers, and families with children. It is characterized by gentle currents, sparkling water, and sandbars perfect for swimming. All prices include life vest, seat cushion, paddles, and transportation to the drop-in point.

Manistee Adventures offers several trip lengths, put-in, and pull-out options. Our most economical trips are those that end at Insta Launch Campground adjacent to our office. The trips below all end at our office where you park your car. Manistee Adventures offers trips under permit with the US Forest Service.
